Kerala CEE -KEAM  is a centralized arrangement to give allotments to the various courses and colleges under the Engineering/Medical/Architecture/Pharmacy streams in the state, Kerala Entrance Examinations (KEAM) , conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. The allotments will be strictly based on the options exercised, the rank obtained in the entrance examinations and eligible reservations of the candidate.
 
 
 
 
 
Eligibility
(i) Nativity:
(a) Applicant should be an Indian citizen.
PIO Card Holders who have studied/are studying in Kerala from Class VIII to XII will be treated on a par with Indian citizens for the limited purpose of admission.

(b) Both Keralites and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply. Applicants of Kerala origin will be categorized as ‘Keralites’. Others will be categorized as ‘Non- Keralites’.

(c) A candidate will be considered as a ’Keralite’, for the limited purpose of eligibility for admission, if
(i) he/she or his/her father/mother was born in Kerala OR
(ii) he/she has been a resident of Kerala for a period of 5 years within a period of 12 years OR
(iii) he/she has undergone his/her school studies from Standards VIII to XII in educational institution's) in Kerala.
‘Non-Keralite Category-I’ candidates are those who have undergone the qualifying course in Kerala, and who are the sons/daughters of Employees of the Government of India, or, employees who are serving in connection with the affairs of the Government of Kerala, subject to the condition that, all categories of the employees mentioned above should have served in Kerala for a minimum period of 2 years, or, have served in connection with the affairs of the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of 2 years
 
 
 
PROCEDURE FOR REGISTERING OPTIONS : Any candidate, who wishes to register his /heroptions, should have the ‘Admit Card’ readily available with him/her. The candidate must also have access to internet facility. The process of registering of options will be done in seven steps (i) Logging on to the web-site CLICK HERE
(ii)   Entering the details asked for relating to the candidate concerned.
(iii)  Setting of a Password.
(iv)  Choosing the procedure for registering of options.
(v)   Registering of the Options and saving/resetting the Options registered.
(vi)  Viewing and Printing of the Options List based on the options registered
(vii)  Logging off from the website.”.

Eligibility for Admission

(a) Academic: Applicants should have passed the MBBS Degree from any of the Universities of Kerala or of any other University recognized by any of the Universities of Kerala as equivalent thereto with eligibility for full registration in respect of all courses.
Applicants who will complete Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (C.R.R.I.) on or before 31.03.2006 are eligible to apply for the examination, but admission to the candidates will be given only after obtaining registration of T.C. Medical Council.
(b) Nativity: Indian Citizens of Kerala origin or those who have been residents of Kerala
for a period of at least 8 years are eligible to apply for P.G. Course. Nativity certificate shallbe obtained from Tahsildars / Village Officers of Kerala State. The Certificate in the body ofthe application form itself shall be submitted. Other certificates are not acceptable and applications will be rejected in such cases.
Note:- For applicants who have undergone M.B.B.S. course in the Medical Colleges of Kerala, a Certificate stipulating the above condition of nativity from the Principal of the Medical College, where he/she has studied will be accepted.
(c) Age : Upper age limit for general merit candidates will be 45 years as on 30-04- 2006. For service candidates, upper age limit will be 47 years for Post Graduate Degree Courses and 48 years for Post Graduate Diploma Courses as on 30-04-2006.
